Honor Code
I fully recognize that Alpine Christian Academy is committed to being a Christian educational ministry and that it offers a life-style of commitment to Jesus Christ. It is, therefore, my commitment to be a person of integrity in my attitudes, speech, actions, and relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I have set my will and mind, with Jesus' help --
1. To apply myself wholeheartedly to my intellectual pursuits and talents, and to use the full power of my mind for God's glory.
1 Corinthians 10:31 - "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Matthew 25:14-30
2. To grow in my spirit by developing my own personal relationship with God.
2 Peter 3:18 - "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him is the glory both now and forever. Amen."
3. To develop my body with good health habits by participation in wholesome physical activities.
1 Corinthians 10:31
4. To cultivate good social relationships and to seek to love others as Jesus loves me. To not lie, steal, curse or gossip.
1 Thessalonians 3:12 - "And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you." Ephesians 4:29
Matthew 22:39
1 John 4:11
5. To keep myself from any immoral and illegal acts and habits. To this end, I will not take any illegal drug; I will not commit illicit sexual acts, including homosexual behavior; I will not abuse alcoholic beverages of any kind; I will not use tobacco; I will not engage in any other behavior that is contrary to the rules and regulations listed in the ACA Student/Parent Handbook.
1 Corinthians 9:25-27 - "And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they did it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus; not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself become disqualified.
1 Corinthians 6:19
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
6. To maintain an "openness" to God's claims on my life, and to do my best to know and follow his will for my life.
Romans 12:1 - "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. "
Psalm 143:10 - "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God, your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
Matthew 6:33
7. To support ACA activities, attend all required classes, and be actively involved in chapel services.
Psalm 95:6 -"Oh come, let us worship and how down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker."
Psalm 95:6
Psalm 34:1-3
8. To be actively involved in my home church, attend church regularly, and do what I can to support the ministry of my church.
Hebrews 10:25 -"...not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching."
1 Corinthians 12:7
Ephesians 4:12
